About PAULA’S FISH PLACE

"Paula's" opened in May of 1994 and is situated just a quarter of a mile from the celebrated Point Pelee National Park.  Called, "the best place to enjoy fresh Lake Erie Yellow perch" by the Windsor Star,* the house specialties are both yellow perch and pickerel. Guests can start off their meals by enjoying the homemade salad bar prepared daily, but should be sure to save room for any number of fresh pies, made each day by Paula's mom, Anne.

Paula's is a family establishment, owned and operated by Paula and Greg Ouellette, as well as with the aid of most of Paula's family members.  In addition to the inspired cooking of Paula's mom, her dad, Roland, drives the complimentary Fish Place Shuttle, Greg has created and maintains a bird paradise behind the restaurant, which can be enjoyed by bird lovers from our dining room, and one of her sisters may be your server! Paula and her family are multilingual, so guests can order in English, French or German!

And we can't forget to mention the wonderful and unique staff who play a large part in making any visit to "Paula's Fish Place" a memorable one.

In addition to running a successful restaurant, Paula Ouellette is an active member of the Leamington community. Paula sits on five committees: The Leamington Chamber of Commerce, The Point Pelee Advisory Committee, The Lung Association, The Heart & Stroke Foundation, and the Leamington/Point Pelee Optimist Club.

The achievement she is most proud of however is her long running relationship with ChildCan. ChildCan is a registered charity in South Western Ontario that assists families who have children with cancer. Since 1996, Paula's has hosted the ChildCan Day fundraiser that has, to date, raised over $100,000.
